Life Hacks & Personal Development

All about the long game. Here is my take on life-changing habits, most of which everyone need to implement NOW.

Let me know if you have any other advice, and thoughts on how to best implement the below.

1) Exercise
Ideally, a combination of weightlifting, cardio and stretching, at least 3-4x a week. Motion creates energy. You need to play the long game. No excuses

2) Read

You should improve your skills and knowledge both work-related and about other subjects (psychology, economics, wellness, history, etc.).

3) Have hobbies

You need to grow. Create hobbies and maintain them. This will both create passion in your life and make you more interesting.

4) Meditate

Especially in high finance, peace of mind is key to maintain. Learn to control your emotions

5) Journal

This will help you clear your mind, define your purpose and become more articulate

6) Be efficient with your time

I heard someone say you shouldn’t do anything that doesn’t fit in either business related, personal growth related, or meaningful life experiences. Don’t binge on Netflix. You have one life.

7) Improve your social skills

Everything in life comes down to social skills. It doesn’t matter if you’re the best in your area if others don’t realize it or you can’t sell your product. Communication is key

8) Set up goals and work towards them

We need a sense of achievement in life and delivering a CIM to your client is not gonna provide it. Work daily towards your goals, create systems to sustain progress.

All of the above can be implemented while in IB or PE
