Lower/middle market IB or Family office

Considering early undergrad (freshman/sophomore) internship next summer and am wondering what you all think I should do. I did lower/middle market M&A this summer and am wondering if it's better to branch out and go to a family office to get a new kind of experience or continue interning at small M&A shops in my area. Note: My goal is IB at BB, like anyone else these days! What do you think in terms of which route I should go? Stay on sell-side or intern at the family office so I can have buy side experience?
