M&A Career Plan

Hi everyone!

I would like to ask you about the training plan for M&A in the first years (Analyst/Associate). I would like to know which M&A knowledge you need to know at the end of each year (1r year Analyst, 2d year Analyst, 3d year Analyst, 1r year Associate...). It could be great if you can tell me for the first 3 years as an Analyst, I am preparing a new Career Plan for the Analysts in my Boutique.

I know each Investment Banking has his own training programme and each person is completely different. But in general, what is basic when you want to promote to another level?

Thank you guys!
