M&A for healthcare company?
My end goal is investment banking but I went to a pretty low tier academic institution. I have been doing business valuation for a CPA firm for almost a year. I have been approached by a healthcare company for position in their M&A department. They are owned by a PE firm so they have capital to spend and plenty of deals. Lot of responsibility right away. My question is what gets me closer to real IB? BV or M&A deal work with a company. It's a very specific niche in healthcare so does that limit me afterwards? Thanks guys.
