Making friends in NYC
Going to be in the city this summer as a sophomore in investment management and I’m somewhat worried about being at such a new and big place.
I spent my last summer internship somewhat close to home so I’d get to see friends/family on the weekends and I’m hoping to socialize and make friends but not sure where to start.
I’m the only intern at this firm and will be living in midtown. I can certainly spend time networking with my future colleagues (BBIB NY) and figure out group placement but I wanted to see what I could do to meet others around my age in the area.

Go play pick up at the Y. Some hardos for sure who slide jersey’d up, but also tons of folks looking for a casual run - good way to get some blood flowing for an hour/make some friends.
Good suggestion! Any specific Ys with casual hoopers? (I’m a fat shooter)
