M&A/Securities Law vs IB Feasability
I am currently a freshman in college and I am starting the process of determining what I want to do and what I need to do to put myself on a path to a successful career. I am currently planning on majoring in history, although I dont have to declare one till the start of next year. I am at a respected liberal arts school (Bucknell), which is a semi-target that sends a decent number of kids into IB relative to its size. My dad is an MD at a small but respected MM so its not like I have no connections in the field. I am currently considering big law, but I guess my concern is that I would be going to three extra years of school to end up doing the paperwork with crappier progression and worse WLB. Can anybody with experience give me some insight? What is possible/realistic given my current situation?
