MBA to RE IB - Question/Help

Any help/insight here would be appreciated. My background is in site acquisitions/underwriting for a commercial/multifamily developer. I went through the application process with the goal of transitioning to REPE post-MBA, but the more I learn I'm becoming very interested in RE/gaming/lodging IB. My initial goal was NYC, but I was waitlisted by both Columbia and NYU. I was accepted to both UCLA Anderson and Texas McCombs and am struggling with the decision. Anderson is obviously ranked a little higher, but I feel that I'd be more comfortable living in Texas vs. LA. Long-term, I'd probably want to head back to the mid-west (Chicago) to be closer to family. A lot of variables to consider and I'm somewhat new to this world"so I'd love to hear anybody's thoughts on my situation. Am I missing something? Really appreciate it.
