Moelis industrials sounds like the most hellish team on planet earth lol. I've noticed industrials tends to usually be a larger team at banks with more layers (turns of decks), but I'm sure it varies by bank.
Contrary to popular belief, Moelis industrials is one of the chillest group at the firm. Maybe its the personality invovled, but it has one of the best cultures and was the most popular group during placements. No insights into mining as that is one of the newer verticals they are trying to build out

Can't speak to the team dynamics Moelis, but Doug Pierson was well-liked at Credit Suisse when he was head of Americas industrials. The guy works extremely hard and expects his team to do the same. But he's always super courteous and would take care of his team very well
How serious are they really about mining. Is Moelis just trying to catch the recently rally or they really want to build a core mining advisory. I have some a few good deals here and there but they are no way comparable to a BMO or RBC or even Canaccord
