Just wanted to start this page to have an idea of what the process is like. As far as I know, some first rounds for targets came out. First rounds 05-13 and 14, super 05-19 and 20. Can anyone confirm ? And does moelis LA generally have target and non-target processes start at different waves?

i went through the superday last year and their interview process is seriously technical. Went really hard on LBO and accretion dilution, was not at all prepared at the time even though I go to a business undergrad. Advice for anyone interviewing at MOE LA is to be very technically competent. Office is one of the best groups on the Street, much more selective than NYC though heard the culture is just as fratty. Tons of Wharton representation. Incredible exit opps coming out
Can confirm. Interviews are very technical and you're also expected to have a baseline knowledge on RX. Exit ops continue to be terrific
Can vouch for this as well. MoCo LA is big on choosing people who can hit the ground running. It's the best place to be on the West Coast if you're after MF PE exits, know they've placed into BX, KKR, Ares, Apollo, and also strong relationship with Centerbridge NY (GS TMT SF is also good, but by nature of Silicon Valley, analysts tend to be more interested in tech/vc/startup). Really insane exits and much stronger office than NY given how much smaller the analyst class is, but prepare to get worked
