Are they even hiring?
I seriously doubt they're hiring. One of the top teams though. Run mostly coverage here like most BBs, but have a signficant on-the-ground presence. Execution gets flown out of London.

Any idea of which firms there are hiring? I heard that biz schools value the international experience.
Also, I don't speak Arabic, would that be a problem? Is preference given to locals?
Preference is definitely given to Arabic speakers, but not so much for internships. Haven't checked on hiring, but firms I know with a semi-active internship program here are:
MS CS GS Rothschild
GS is apparently taking on interns in lieu of new analysts at the moment, lower cost!
How is the placement of these offices to PE? I know there are some very good PE funds like Abraaj in the region.
