Morgan Stanley NYC Groups

I've looked through some previous threads, but many are from 2009/10, or focused on particular groups. I want to learn more about banking groups at Morgan Stanley in terms of exit opps and culture. I know M&A and mediacomm get a lot of love in terms of exit opps, but if someone could illuminate more about culture, and more about some of the less famous groups. Also curious about what kind of tech deals get done in the nyc office (I know menlo handles most of the software/sexystuff

Thanks

Any chance you could post a link to BlackJack's response that was mentioned in your thread? I had a quick scan through some of his posts but didn't see it.

I believe he was referring to this: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/best-groups-at-ms

OP, not sure what sort of insight you're looking for in regards to culture. The top groups are going to be grind shows. Apparently Sponsors is a lifestyle group. The only other group I've heard of that has somewhat of a collegial culture is GPUG, but it's still a hard working group and one of the best in their industry.
