Move from Private Capital Advisory to M&A and RX - help

Hi monkeys,

I have done an internship in M&A in an EB in a regional office and this summer will intern in the private capital / secondary advisory of an EB in the main city.

I was planning to move from that private capital / secondary advisory group to M&A and RX but within the EB, but I am not sure exactly how to approach this internal transfer - Should it be right after the internship? Should it be after working for a couple of months FT? Should I secure an offer for a PE internship (currently in final rounds for 2)?

My idea is that the current environment is perfect for RX and the team might need resources.

Would you mind sharing any advice?

Thanks
