Navigating Internal Mobility: Switching Divisions at JPMC as a Current Summer Analyst
For Summer 2025, I’ll be interning at JPMC Private Bank, but I’m interested in applying on the careers portal for the Investment Banking division at JPMC in NYC for the following year. Would this be seen negatively? Could it impact my chances of receiving a return offer this summer or even put my current intern offer at risk? Or is it generally acceptable to apply to a different division and location within the same bank?
