Need help / advice - levfin

Good afternoon all,

Im reaching out here looking for some advice / input for an upcoming levfin case study I have in a couple days. This role is for an analyst program, but requires two YOE to qualify.

  • Background:

The case study will be one hour long and a one hour panel discussion (all in-person) Previous rounds included basic IB technicals (accounting, very very basic LBO knowledge, LFCF, ect.). This company is essentially a PC firm using a parent companies BS for investments.

  • Question:

Considering I have very little time to prepare, what should I expect this case study to include? Are the chances its a 1-hour paper LBO, will they show me an investment opportunity and ask for my thoughts and some basic analysis of the deal, or could it be something else like a three statement model and a DCF? Other ideas and input will be greatly appreciated.

  • Last add-ins:

I have been preparing with the BIWS LBO questions, practicing basic paper LBO (struggling with this one), and chapters 6-7 of Moyers Distressed (Leverage concepts, Capital structures/credit risk) as well as LBO's in Rosenbaum (a lot of reading and more difficult to take high level for interviews), and LCD Leveraged Loan Primer. Also this is for a NYC role.

I need this job very bad and some advice to help calm the nerves so I can really focus on what will be most important for this case study will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance!
