I’m trying to lateral from financial services consulting (think KPMG) to IB. Over 2 years of experience, went to a non-target (think Rutgers, Baruch, Fordham,etc). Sent out about 150 emails so far (school, company, random) response rate has been quite low. So far had 5 calls, didn’t lead anywhere. One MD asked for resume and never got back. What am I doing wrong?
