Not Knowing What You Want/What Direction to Go

Hi All,

I am a first year investment banker content with life, but I feel myself getting complacent and really want to go out of my comfort zone - whether it be moving to a new city, job, industry, etc. while I'm young. I don't want regrets later in life. I want to experience the world and travel as I haven't really gotten the chance to up to this point in my life. Further, I have interests I would love to pursue (fashion, culture, etc.) outside of finance , but have no idea how I would go about this given my lack of experience. On top of these things, i would consider myself fairly materialistic and hope to become very ~financially~ successful in live. It seems as though all of these desires butt heads, leading to a zero-sum game. I'm sure some of you on here have experienced similar thoughts.

I'd love to hear opinions, shared experiences, advice, anything... This community is a great resource and I'd love to utilize it. Who knows the long-term impact your comment might have..

Thanks!
