NYC vs SF

Hello, I recently accepted a FT return offer in SF. Super excited about it, but I really want to be in NYC and have been stressing out about not living my dream to be on wall street. I know this is kind of cringe/cliché and I should be thankful for the offer given the times, but wondering if you guys have any advice for how I can get to NYC without taking a significant discount in firm reputation/group. My firm has a big presence there but I was worried that I couldn't change the offer's location through HR or talking to people. Also, NYC is way closer to my family and friends so I have a lot of personal reasons I would rather be there. Appreciate any advice!
