Wondered if any (former) IB analysts had gone through the IB analyst program without success in the H1-B lottery and successfully moved to another company despite being close to running out of STEM OPT ? What was your process in doing so? All and any perspectives are welcome!

Ended up getting a STEM master's when I ran out of H1B tries and came back to the same firm as the one I was at before.
STEM masters bought you another 3 years right? Was it easy moving back to the same company?

Just to add to the previous comments, you could also see if anyone might be able to hire you on an uncapped H1 visa. Some jobs don't require the sponsorship and can issue an H visa for roles in research, charitable organizations, like philanthropic funds.
