PE Case Study Financial Model
For a PE case study, if you are asked to provide a memo with several points and one is the following: "financial Model with Returns and Sensitivities," could someone provide insight into what to include here? I am not submitting my actual Excel model as part of the study, so I want to ensure I am providing enough detail. Obviously, I would add in sensitivity tables, but wondering if I need to include things such as different cases, operating model, etc. Any insight would be appreciated - thanks!
I'd guess IRR sensitivities on entry/exit multiples, leverage (as multiple of EBITDA), WACC.. You should also provide different returns under different cases - i.e. base, haircut, stress/bank. Obviously you'd have to explain underlying assumptions
