Performance on FT Training Exams
My class was told that the results of our training exams will be sent to HR.
I'm behind on studying for the Series 79 and 63 and am using some of my training time to continue preparing so that I can hopefully pass both of them before I hit the desk.
How important is my performance on these training exams? Groups were already decided at the conclusion of my internship last summer.
I'm particularly concerned about TTS's valuation exam. It will be self-administered and apparently is multiple choice. Could anyone provide info on this.
Just don't get too far off the average. Study for series 79 during the TTS lectures. Your performance isn't super important, but you don't want to stand out in a negative way (especially early on). The other consideration is your HW and quiz exams. If you are putting up 100s on HW and Quizzes, fucking up the final exam isn't as much of a red flag. If you're doing piss poor work the whole way, that would raise eyebrows. You most likely won't get fired or anything (even for terrible performance on everything), but you could be viewed as a technically unable analyst, and that impression could last a while.
Thanks. I'm definitely slightly below average as of now which I can correct. None of the homework is being submitted.
Nobody looks at anything relax
Lol, nobody cares if you are doing around average.
I'm on the same boat lol. Studying for the regulatory exams while doing training. Very intense.
Not even intense. Just actually sucks lol.
Yea like after the training day is done, I do the homework and then study lol
Bump - does this matter at all? Could I get by with barely submitting work
OP here. Did poorly on the Exams but turned in all the work and communicated with the instructors that I had Series Exams to study for. Absolutely no one cared. Never heard a word about it and it didn't affect my staffings at all.
Anyone get away with not turning in work like the homework assignments and doing poorly on the quizzes lmao? Heard no one pays attention to this even if you're doing piss poor?
