Piper Layoffs???
Have an upcoming interview with Piper - wondering if they had layoffs in 2024. I have heard there may have been some a few weeks ago. Anyone have any details on this?

Most are working sub 50 million deals with bloated deal team (at least for FIG)

Wouldn't be surprised. Did everyone not see on WSO/IG that Piper did not host holiday parties in 2023 and cut company sponsored lunches due to cost-cutting reasons?
Haven’t seen any layoffs personally - must be group dependent. Bonus messaging has been ‘measured’ and hopeful it won’t be anything like some of the other banks that went super low.
Any idea when bonuses are paid out, and any sense of last year's Associate pay range?
Currently working in Piper Minn HQ. Have heard 0 rumors of anything related to layoffs. Seems like people are just spreading FUD

piper doesn't like to do lay offs one day at a time to avoid the news flow, they've been slowly cutting headcount over the last several months, expect the trend to continue imo.
