PJT Partners — Overview (July 2018)

Recently accepted an offer in May for PJT Partners M&A 2019 SA position. Since there hasn’t really been a ton of recent threads on the firm, I’m wondering where people think PJT now stands in a few categories:

  1. M&A Summer Analyst Program — anyone who has done it or known someone who has done it? What were their thoughts / how were their experiences?

  2. Ranking against other EBs (LAZ, EVR, etc.)

The below are more for the general public looking to gain some updated insight on the firm as of summer 2018:

  1. Deal flow — any idea as to if this has been picking up? I’m aware of the Sky and T-Mobile deals, but interested to hear peoples’ take on the topic for 2018

  2. Exit Ops — what do these look like, specifically for this 2018 summer?

  3. Comp — sounds like the PJT has done a good job in this area. Any outlooks for 2018?

Really appreciate any info on the above — thought it’d be good to have updated 2018 outlook / opinions on the firm.
