Please Help: Different question about how to answer "what other banks are you talking to in interviews"

I used the search function but couldn't find an answer that addressed this situation:

So I've been recruiting all summer but haven't been able to get past the resume screen due to a low GPA. I finally got pushed through into the process with a solid bank however, I'm struggling to figure out a solid answer to the question "What other banks are you interviewing with?" I know to keep it in the same type (ie. if BB then name other BBs), but since it's this late in the cycle and most banks are full, I don't want to lie since I'm not really in the interview process with anyone else. That being said, I also don't want to say no one else though and sound like an unattractive candidate. Any advice is on this would be helpful.

Sounds like you got in via networking? Who else are you networking with right now?

Nothing wrong with saying "I am talking with banks BB 1, BB 2, as well as MM Banks 1 and 2" even if you don't have solid interviews there. If they ask the stage of the process, you MUST be honest and say you haven't had an interview yet (easier to check on this then you think). Also, start looking into some industry jobs (F500 of whatever group you want most)

Banks are very sharp with recruiting, they know it is late in the game so it's not a dealbreaker to not have other interviews right now. Just be honest above all
