Depends on what you want. If you want EB, maybe tossup between PWP and Evercore, depending on which group you preferred interacting with. That being said, most people here will probably go with something along the lines of the following:

Evercore

BofA/PWP/Citi

The rest.

All great options and congrats on the offers.

You can’t rank these. Rankings make no sense—they change every year based on md departures and arrivals and also your future interests. Do you want to do healthcare? Take a healthcare offer. Want to do mm investing? Take a mm offer. Want to be in SF? Go to San Fran. Make your own decisions and if you actually want to know what makes these firms different call people at those firms. This forum will only provide undergrad rankings and I’m telling you they don’t have a f ing clue what makes banks strong or what actually creates a good experience.

Thank you while I agree and largely my decisions are based on my interview experience and the initiative taken by the teams. I am not solely going to make my decision off of WSO but it's a good starting point to hear a different perspective on perhaps something I may have missed or overlooked. I still think they can be ranked based on people's experiences with certain MDs and the churn is certainly higher lately.

It can’t be ranked because it’s rare an individual has experienced two offices.

Also, ranked in terms of what? Number of deals closed? Immediate salary? Path to being a long term banker? Most relevant to mega-fund PE? Most relevant to VC? Culture? People on this forum will act like they know rankings, but it’s wild because there is just no way you can actually know good/ bad banks unless you are a VP or above and narrow your market focus. You really think even a BB MD in industrials knows the key mover and shaker MDs in the middle market? No chance. You are asking to compare apples and oranges by mixing mms, bbs, and EB’s looking for a best choice when they all have pros and cons. I have friends formerly at MM’s who closed more transactions and comparable sized transactions in their two years to a friend at Qatalyst. I have a friend who left moelis who closed basically no deals during his two year stint and pitched like 15+ times.

I would argue WSO is a pretty bad place to start for advice honestly. But even if you are, don’t ask for “rankings” narrow your focus and say “what is best for $1B + PE firm exits, or bschool exits etc.
