Practice in Modeling
Hello Everyone,
I know that there are sites like macabacus that teach you how to create models, but are there sites that have questions and solutions for practice, or is that not really a thing?
Thanks.

Career Resources
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You could take one of those financial modelling courses out there. Many of them include practice lessons that comes with excel files to be completed.
are there any free courses that you know of?
Multiple Expansion is a good free resource
Would SB, but have none. Multiple Expansion was a great help for me.
Thanks, very helpful, was looking exactly for something like that
Thanks guys. Appreciate the advice.
Are there any sites/courses recommended particularly for SaaS modelling (Operating model)
also one more question. Will i ever have to crate a model from scratch, or will there always be a template
Depends but knowing how to do it from scratch helps significantly.
sounds good. basically all you really need to know is the info like multiples and the like? then you can do the rest for yourself?
And I have to say Multiple Expansion is awesome! Better than any of the other free resources out there
asimplemodel is cool
thanks guys for all the advice, I really appreciate it.
is there a site that gives practice for free, asimplemodel doesnt
DCF / LBO first
Merger model is really just LBO + standalone model for acquiror
thankd a lot man appreciate it
Also, would it be better to learn how to do a merger model first, or stick with doing the LBO and DCF models first?
There are Fin. modeling courses that have practice sheets. IMHO, best way to practice modeling is do an actual model on an actual company (say publicly listed with all info available) as you can have a real benchmark on how reliable your model is.
thanks. sounds good.
