Putting FT signed offer on CV to apply for internship?

Hello fellow monkes, I got an offer to join a BB in July 2025, but I graduated in September and am looking for ways to kill time. I was thinking of interning once again, but I've had only very mid internships on my CV before landing a FT offer at a BB (directly applied to FT).

I'm thinking whether it's a good idea to put it on my CV and apply for an internship (e.g. PE) that starts and ends before my full-time. Do companies usually hire only people that don't have any locked-in FT gigs afterwards? Since I just signed the offer and didn't even do the background check yet, is it risky putting the name of my future gig on CV?

Thanks and godspeed

You are stupid. Just spend senior year doing something else. Go drink with your friends, hangout touch grass or whatever. Not trying to be super rude or offensive but this is probably the best break you have in a while.

If you really want to put in some work and is interested in buyside. Start doing LBO modeling on the side from scratch to ensure speed and comprehensive understanding.

That being said, if you still want to do internship. Just don’t have that on.

He’s not in senior year he said he already graduated and presume his friends are busy.

Would second the general gist of the point to spend the time that you can travelling/doing something memorable.

I wouldn’t put the new offer on the CV despite having a relatively less attractive prior summer internship. Generally the OC candidates who usually get hired are the ones who have a view to stay on post completion unless the company explicitly says they’re not looking to convert whoever gets the role.

Good luck mate!
