Quant Risk Career Choice

Hi everyone. I am pretty new to WSO so just wanted to get some career advice. I am current an undergrad at an Ivy studying applied math and compsci. I was interested in getting into the quant space but I am also still keeping my mind open to ML or data science roles in the tech industry. I recently got an offer for Morgan Stanley's Quant Risk Summer Analyst position and was wondering what career growth, pay scale, and exit opportunities look like if I were to go down that path.
