If I am a first year analyst and my entire industry group leaves(I don’t get work from other verticals), should I feel obligated to stay until all of the other associates from different groups leave? I know its varies bank to bank.. what do you think?

Our bank is pretty small with about 25 analysts but only 2(including me) in my vertical
No. Go home. Facetime is stupid but if you choose to do it, do it only with your group / people who can influence you. As a 2nd year you won't care about facetime and will be able to leave whenever.
