Question about Internships
Hi everyone,
I'm a rising sophomore (class of 2027) at Wharton trying to break into investment banking, but I'm an FGLI non-diversity student (male, Asian) so I don't really have any family who knows about recruiting/the industry in general. I would really appreciate some advice!
I don't know where to start with the following:
Where and when do students get sophomore summer internships? I've heard that BofA and MS sophomore IB sophomore programs are usually reserved for diversity students. Where should we start to look (websites, etc.)? When does recruiting for Summer 2025 sophomore spots start/end?
I did a search fund internship this summer — but it wasn't anything glamorous. Mostly cold-emailing, so I'm trying to find a remote internship position this upcoming fall as well. What kind of companies offer these positions?
Thank you guys so much! I didn't know who to ask, and it feels like everyone has everything figured out.
