Renewable Energy Interview Questions

Hey guys,

Just trying to get a sense of how to prepare and what kind of questions I can expect for a renewable energy (wind and solar) M&A related interview,

My background is in valuation so I feel comfortable on the general valuation approaches and questions.

Friend of mine interviewed for a boutique specialising in energy. They asked standard questions but the energy related ones were to discuss a recent energy deal and to value a wind turbine/solar panel.

What market trends do you see?
What is the current KwH cost of (X) energy?
If you could pick a company right to pitch as an acquisition target, which one would it be and why? (look for a firm with a high EPS, you want something accretive)
Do you think plants have feelings?
Can you explain any deals we've done lately? What part of the energy supply chain are we strongest in?
Have you ever held a baby animal in your arms and sang kumbiyah to it?
Why renewable energy? Why not traditional energy?
What sectors do you think are most likely to be ripe for investment? (could be related to question above about likely M&A targets)
Have you ever eaten a piece of meat? Have you ever thought about eating a piece of meat? (instant ding if you answer "yes" to either)
