Rothschild USA: Sponsorship?

Hi, I’ve read that Rothschild sponsors international candidates, but I haven’t been able to find any international students on LinkedIn currently working at the NYC or LA offices. Just wanted to confirm—do those offices sponsor STEM OPT?

Virtually no banks sponsor these days and for the ones that do - you’ll be at a massive disadvantage and need to be exceptional to justify doing so

Would the fact that i’m an undergraduate in the U.S work in my favor as the firm wouldn’t have to sponsor me for the first 3 years because of my stem opt status or would they still view me as a liability regardless?

Uh you should chill out a little man. Being this hardcore before college even starts will not do you any favors. By the time you are ready to apply for anything, immigration policy likely will have changed given the Jekyll and Hyde nature of this Administration. Please go touch grass and consider getting laid before you start worrying about getting sponsored for applying in 2027 for 2028 summer.

sorry if I was too pushy. it’s just that I am headed to college on student loans and honestly i don’t want to look back and regret that i didn't plan ahead. i know that policies might change and stuff, but personally, i just want to make the most of this opportunity that my parents and i have worked so hard for

He isn’t do anything wrong. I’ll also start my ug education next year, and I try to network as soon as possible to guarantee my place in an investment bank.

.Hey, are you sure? I have a friend who is also international and did not get their offer rescinded even though they know they are.
