RX as AN1 @ PWP, CVP, MOE
Are these programs all Generalist after SA too? Mainly wondering if M&A and RX will run the same process or separate ones at these places for FT recruiting

Cvp there’s a restructuring major program or whatever it’s called where you do 80% rx 20% m&a
PWP and moelis are generalist sa (I’ve heard people working in these groups entire summer(?) not 100% sure) and you have to go through group placement process for ft analyst program.
I’m pretty sure technically ducera is fully generalist as an1 since they are building their m&a + capital markets practice
Hope someone else can chime in as well my info may be dated
OP here: Thank you! So then these firms will not have two separate FT processes but one that is for both coverage and RX groups?
FT processes are very unlikely at these firms since they are the most competitive spots, 99% will just go to the gen interns that worked with rx during their sa barring events like covid. CVP doesn't really do FT at all either. most rx postings youll see will be experienced an/asso
Got it thank you! Saved me a lot of time :)
would recommend you look at other places that more often open ft, hl does but you might not b in ny office, ducera does and gives you a "gen" experience as analyst, maybe some of the smaller shops that do some rx too but wouldn't know unless you network. in general banks that have separate rx recruitment for sa's should also have more ft spots as those get poached off , and you're not fighting wharton sa's gunning for rx internally as poster below noted
