What should be a typical 1st year analyst salary range be at a boutique investment bank, and is it a bad idea to negotiate a salary? They've been around for 20+ years, and I have a year and a half of work experience for a REIT.
Also, should there be much of a difference in salary range city to city? i.e. NYC vs San Francisco vs Boston?
