Senior Banker Comps
Does anyone actually know what senior bankers are pulling in these days? It would be great for us junior people to have a sense of what to expect realistically as we plan our careers. I know there is a ton of variability but I for one don't trust those comp surveys (and most self-reported surveys for that matter).
What are base salaries? A few hundred K, I presume?
What are bonuses like?
How has this changed over the past few years?
How much does it vary by bank and within banks?
How variable is year to year it really.
How much do you need to save for a rainy day to feel comfortable?
