Share Price Control

Hi all,

Just wanted to get everyones opinion/knowledge on a a acquisition we are doing. My company (a list co) is intending to acquire a private company (which also happens to be own by related parties of the controlling shareholder of ListCo) of which the consideration will be shares however given the poor performance of listco, the shares are trading quite low we anticipate that upon announcing this transaction the share prices of listco will trend upwards resulting in less shares issued. Are there any methods or things we could do to control the share price so that it doesnt trade too high
