Shortcut for track dependents that spell out Cell location?
Hi guys:
Sorry to ask such a beginner level question, but I was wondering if anyone knows that the Excel short cut for Track Dependents that allows me to see the SPELLED-OUT cell locations are please? Ctrl+] just shows me the dependent cells greyed out, but it's hard to track those not on the same worksheet. Using the Track Dependent button under Formula - Formula Auditing only shows the arrows to those dependent cells, also hard to track those not on the same sheet.
I seem to remember one shortcut where you can see the cell locations spelled out but can't remember how to access it. Thank you for your help in advance!
Are you simply referring to the F2 key? That does exactly what you're looking for but that should've been one of the first things you learned in Excel so not sure if that's what you want
EDIT: nvm realized you said dependents
I found it - it's just Ctrl+] and double clicking the dotted lines that lead to the other sheets, no other formula to just show the cell locations..
if you have FactSet CTRL + SHIFT + } gives you a full list
