Should I accept or pursue my dream?

A little bit of background. I am currently interning at a top group in an EB - not M&A. M&A has always been my interest and recently received an offer from a top boutique to perform valuation - not M&A. I am inclined to believe I could land certain interviews for M&A groups in the city. However, valuation has always been among my interests.

Should I accept the offer? Or shall I wait, renege, and wait to see if I can pass the process for an M&A position?

Accept the offer and make a lateral move into an M&A group in the future. Not that hard. Valuation experience can be easily transferred to M&A.

To infinity... and beyond!
