SIE Exam Incoming Analyst - Extended Time
Starting my full-time career in a few months and honestly starting to freak out about the SIE exams. I have a documented audio/visual disorder that has allowed me double time on tests and quizzes throughout HS/college as well as other exams (i.e. SAT, ACT, CPA). Will I be able to do the same with the SIE (FINRA) exams, and if so, will I be able to keep the matter confidential from my firm? I'm extremely competent and prepared for my new job (I've worked several other IB/finance/accounting internships before and did very well), but I'd rather not have to bring up the fact that I need extended time on the SIE exams to my new company just to avoid any potential negative impressions (after all, this is IB where the work is incredibly fast-paced). Any advice for what to do? Thanks!
I promise that it is one of the easiest exams you will take in your life. Just read the material and take a bunch of Knopman practice tests until you are comfortably passing. Have you taken a practice test yet? The tests you named are 100x more challenging. I do not think that your firm would even be aware that you needed extra time as this is something that FINRA along with Prometric will be handling.
