Silence after Case Study

Hey All,

I think I know the answer, but I'm hoping to get some other opinions. I am in the interview process for an IBD FT position (had a first round and a case study so far) and since turning in the case study 3 weeks ago (it appears) no one on WSO has heard back about any next steps. I followed up with HR on Monday and never received a reply. Normally I would just move on and chalk it up to a ding, but I just find it odd that of the 3-4 people on WSO that say they got the case study, none of them seem to have heard back. Do I just view as a lost cause and move forward with some other non-IBD opportunities that are waiting, or do I hold out? My thought is to move on, but I'd love to hear I'm wrong and that this is just how the process works.

If you submitted a Case study and haven't heard back. I would hold tight.  They clearly are getting close to the end and so they might be nit picking the cases closely which takes time.  I would keep applying, but stay hopeful at this point.

Edit, I was in a very similar situation and it took the firm a month to get back to me.
