Skip IB for faster promotion track
Should I break into IB later if I have an opportunity to work in a growing Credit Rating company with the opportunity to be promoted fast, and then go into Private Credit 2-3 years down the line?

No not at all. Just do IB and come in PC as an associate 2-3 years later. Prob can’t do that at a rating agency.
Agreed with above, not a ton of exit opps from a rating company - I'd stick to IB then move to private credit if that's still the path you want. If not, then IB will open more doors
