People said it was going to pick up in 2022, which it didn't. They said the same about 2023, and it actually has been but not to the extent pundits predicted. I think 2024 will truly actually be a good year for RX.
The 3M SOFR is 5.3%. That's the highest its been since 2007 (technically LIBOR). This is going to hurt many companies regardless of industry and will wreck floating-rate pandemic-era term loans which were taken out when SOFR was basically zero.
