Story for Consulting to Banking

Hi guys,

I'm making a switch from consulting to M&A and would really appreciate some advice on how to craft a story. You'll see that given my background, it might be tricky.

I recently finished interning at a tier 2 consulting firm (likes of OW, RB, ATK, LEK, etc.), did undergrad in Finance and MSc in international business. People might be wondering why I went from finance to consulting and now back to finance.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this kind of industry switch and help me with what to look for in crafting a convincing story?

Thank you in advance!
