Stress of internship versus full-time
Hi all--during many of my friends' internships and my own past experiences, we faced extreme levels of stress, and was wondering if any of you can compare your full-time experience (when actual money is on the line) versus the stress of being a BB/boutique intern where every day is stressful due to the uncertainty of offers and the "interview" feel to the day-to-day. Is banking just that stressful, or is full time work in your experience less of a mind game?
To quote one of my friends who is currently a second year analyst at a BB: "the internship wasn't great but was do-able. Then we showed up to work for full time, and day one on the desk it felt like a train hit me and then never stopped dragging me"
Stress is significantly greater as a full time
what about with sales and trading, where its less deal-based?
