Suntrust Robinson Humphry
Was wondering if anyone had any additional info about the Suntrust recruiting process/timeline? Specifically, has it already finished or has the portal yet to open? Thanks in advance, will SB anyone that provides useful info
Would also love to know
I met with a lot of people from STRH and it seems like recruiting is typically done in sept but, it doesn't even matter unless you go to one of their SE target schools. If you go to a SE target school with strong GPA, then you should be good.
Ok I don't specifically go to one of their SE target schools, but I go to a target school overall with very strong GPA and good experience. Checked LinkedIn and theres a few alumni from my school at STRH...you think there's a chance I could break in?
Are you referring to SA or FT recruiting?
You should reach out to alumnis, The STRH guy seem to be very open in talking to you. You should apply, but chances are slim from experience. They hired some kids from their target school with no real banking experience versus me having a BB credit gig under the belt. It could just be me, because I guess I didn't interview well.
I am close with an MD and he explicitly told me that they will not even consider students outside of their region, and specifically their target schools. This is because so many people will use it to springboard to other firms in NYC/SF. They have a quota at schools like Emory and then they look at other schools within the region.
I'm from the region just dont go to school down here, went to school in north...however I do see some alumni from my school at STRH so it has to be somewhat possible
also i just checked, and there are several analysts, associates, VP, SVP, director and even a couple MD's from my school so I feel like they have to take from some northern schools
Yeah being from the region will definitely help your case - best of luck
I'm wrong
main application literally just opened on August 6
Is the summer analyst program for rising seniors? The description on the career portal says it requires a completed junior year in undergrad but typically summer programs are for people going into junior year so I'm a little confused
