Surviving the IB culture

I'm an incoming SA at a BB in NYC and am a pretty straight shooter. I enjoy partying and am cool with drinking but I don't smoke or do drugs / weed... I don't want to start doing drugs and I've read the stories of like people shooting up or doing co***ne in the office. Is that still a thing anymore? I'm hoping not...

He should be more worried about the other analysts fat shaming him if he doesn’t also do 18:6 intermittent keto or run half marathons on the weekends

Shooting up?? Dude no one shoots up lol. People definitely love the uppers but I'll say that if you're not cool with it, you'll likely not be approached about it as people definitely know who's down and who's not. And if you're not down you won't be ostracized by any means so don't worry.

It's well known that heroin is to IB as steroids are to bodybuilders, look at all those middle-aged moms hooked on pain-killers running billion-dollar processes.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.

Is it? That's news to me. I've always seen either blow or addy/vyvanse usage but literally never in my, albeit limited, five years on the street seen continued heroin usage. Definitely some oxy from some but no shooting up.
