I'm an incoming sa at an eb (pwp/moe/laz/ghl) tech group in sf/mp. I'm originally from just outside the bay area and don't really like it. Assuming I do well during the internship, would it be possible to lateral to nyc for ft? I've noticed a few people at my bank have done this from a variety of locations. How would I go about doing this - should I wait until after I receive the return offer or bring it up before?
