Take offer now or wait it out?
So I'm a junior at a non-target school that has had solid placement in the past few years. I just transferred here and won't have a GPA until the end of the semester so, I've been trying to hedge myself in case I can't land an SA somewhere, so I'm looking for some input.
I have a few options, but what would position me the best for IB FT?
-Corp Fin: GE Financial Management Program > GM Financial Analyst > Dell Financial Analyst > Target Business Analyst
-Consulting: Booz Allen Hamilton
-PE: MM PE
or do I wait it out till Jan/Feb and hope I kill it in IB SA recruiting?

Choose one. You can always keep interviewing-which would be an affective hedge on next semester. You may decline the ones this semester, and get rejected by everyone next semester. If you find something better, then renege.

SA recruiting happens 2nd semester after u have ur gpa from first semester
You can push back the deadline for Target's SA program, but it is very difficult to break into banking after that internship.
I would say go for the MM PE if you like the team/could see yourself working there full time. Then again, if there is no way they would extend you a FT offer after the summer then that may not make sense.
But, if you can get into PE right out of school, go for it. I did, much better hours and similar comp in my situation.
