Hi monkeys, recently started in tech ECM at a bank with good deal flow. I like the job so far but I've been really interested in pivoting more towards startups/tech on the West Coast. Is this a feasible transition? Are there definite transferable skills?

Yeah the positioning work in ECM can be relevant for VC / growth shops and biz ops / strategy type roles at startups. For the most competitive roles you will be at a disadvantage vs. the regular TMT coverage or M&A folks but if the bank is solid w/good dealflow you'll be able land something
