Texas - Advice?

I recently have started the process of working with head hunters and preparing for interviews this summer for 2011 PE starts, and was looking for some advice on location. At this point, I'm looking to join a PE firm (or possibly HF) in Texas, preferably in the DFW or Austin area. Quick background, I'm at a BB in NYC in a respected industry group, but very keen on working in Texas after my analyst stint (am a Texas native). From Houston people or former NYC bankers, which head hunters have the best Texas contacts and any advice on how to best position myself to land a position at a Texas PE firm? Thanks.
