The Role of The Analyst Position: Discussed
Would be very interested to hear everyone's thoughts about where the Analyst position at IB and PE firms is heading. Simultaneously, as more MF PE firms are building out small Analyst positions, I've heard more and more about IB firms looking to use AtoA as opposed to searching out at M7s.
Anyone think the role of the Analyst position at Bulges and MFs will be drastically different in 5 or 10 years? Less emphasis on B School and more homegrown Associates?
